We were forced to remove our children from BHPS due to aggressive teachers who didn't seem to like children and a head who seemed more interested in hearing himself talk than dealing with any problems. BHPS has a MAJOR bullying problem and this problem is reinforced by the teachers, some of whom are bullies themselves.
In addition the school is solely focused on getting kids into the 'top' secondary schools and any child who needs help is labeled 'useless', literally.
I regret sending my children to this school and have joined the growing number of parents forced to find an acceptable alternative either by going private or moving from the area.
Oh, and the fundraising is out of control. Families are ponying up over one thousand dollars a year to the fundraising initiatives. If they don't they are named and shamed.
